a citibank officer really pissed me off.
5.30pm -i was ordering my drink at mcCafe and this citi person called.
at least she was
polite enough to ask if it was a convenient time to talk. i said no. she asked if she cld call bak at 6.30pm? i said fine.
6.30pm - i was wiping my new cupboard in my rm. went to the toilet, washing the cloth and my house fone rang. dad was slping, didnt wan to wake him up. so i ran for the fone. AND IT WAS TT CITI OFFICER.
i was thinking, 'wah so aggresive'
she asked if it was convenient to talk, so fine, i listened to what she said.
she was introducing some plan. wat $50 bucks thing den if got sickness and go hospital stay can get $1500 and nw h1n1 thiing. DUNNO WHAT SHE TALKING LAH!
i was getting fed up. cus
1. i cant really catch what she was saying, cus of her slang. i tink she was an indian or something. u guys noe how indians talk right (sorry if any indians are reading this post, no offense. really) her voice was really boring into my mind and i really wanted to finish wiping my new cupboard so tt i cld put my stuffs inside. and there was i, holding on to the fone to hear some ppl blabbering abt some stuffs which i had NO IDEA what its abt.
so i politely said, sry i m nt interested. she asked, what is holding u back?
i asked if there was any brochure or what whch i cld read abt this from (i really rather read frm a brochure than waste my time listening to a person blabbering with what i dont undstd). she said no. so i said, fine. what abt ur website, whats this plan called, can i read frm ur website. she told me the plan name. BUT SERIOUSLY I CANT HEAR IT PROPERLY EITHER CUS OF HER SLANG.
super fed up already, so i said. sorry, i'm relly nt interested. and she asked tt blardy question again, what is holding u back. i felt like telling her, im nt interested means im nt interested stop asking so much!. but i just repeated myself. i tink she cld hear my fed up-ness in my voice. AND SHE ASKED THE SAME THING. HELLO! CANT U UNDERSTAND OF 'IM NOT INTERESTED!' NONE OF UR BUSINESS WHATS HOLDING ME BACK. U WAN TO PAY FOR ME ISIT? ASK SO MUCH QUESTIONS. BLARDY HELL. and i tink SHE was fed up too. so she hastily said thank u for ur time, gooddbye ms chan.
YEAH. GOOD RIDDANCE TO YOU.
seriously, i feel tt if companies want to hire ppl to make marketing/cold calls to customers, pls choose some ppl with decent voices, and nt some with slang-ish voices, makes ur customer uninterested, why? cus they cant understnd and hear properly whats they talking abt. and CSOs, IF UR CUSTOMERS TELL U THEY ARE NT INTERESTED 2-3 TIMES ALREDY, STOP ASKING SO MUCH AND F OFF. super pissed.
